How to Set Up an AI Storefront for Your Link in Bio
Step-by-step guide to set up an AI storefront on your bio link — profile, knowledge, offers, FAQs, booking, and how to go live on Instagram or TikTok.
Most “set up your link in bio” guides end with a stack of buttons. That is a classic link page: list URLs, hope people pick the right one, answer the rest in DMs.
An AI storefront is different. Followers tap one link, talk to an assistant grounded in your knowledge, message you, request a collab, or book/buy — without bouncing through three other apps. That is what PingMyBio is built for.
Short answer: Sign up → claim pingmybio.com/you → fill Profile → add Knowledge and FAQs → publish offers with booking → paste the URL in Instagram/TikTok. Skip the theme rabbit hole; spend the time on answers the assistant can use.
Classic link page vs AI storefront
| | Classic link page | AI storefront (PingMyBio) | | --- | --- | --- | | Job | Show destinations | Answer, book, and capture leads | | After the tap | Another site or a DM | Conversation on your page | | Night-time questions | Wait in your inbox | Assistant uses your Knowledge | | Best for | Portfolios, “all my links” | Coaches, consultants, workshops, collabs |
PingMyBio runs as an AI bio at runtime — not a Classic/AI toggle you flip in settings. If you only need a pretty button list, use a list tool. If your bio is how you get clients, keep reading.
What you need before you start
- An email you check (login + booking alerts)
- A short bio and a clear photo or brand mark
- At least one offer you actually sell (session, workshop, ask-me, collab, or digital)
- The answers you already repeat in DMs (“how much?”, “what’s included?”, “do you work with brands?”)
Optional but useful: Stripe ready when you want paid checkout live (you can still publish Knowledge and offers while you finish payments).
Step 1 — Create your page and claim the URL
- Go to Create a page.
- Sign up and complete setup for your creator profile.
- Claim a short slug. Your public page will be
pingmybio.com/yourname.
Use the handle people already know from Instagram or TikTok when you can. Changing it later means updating every bio that links to you.
Early access note: first 100 creators get five months free on the current offer — confirm on the signup screen.
Step 2 — Finish Profile (this is the storefront header)
Open App → Profile. This is what fans see before they chat.
- Display name and handle
- Short positioning line (who you help + outcome)
- Photo / brand image
- Social links you want next to the hub (optional)
Keep the headline job-shaped: “Career coach for mid-level PMs” beats “Creator | Speaker | Vibes.”
Step 3 — Teach the assistant with Knowledge + FAQs
Open App → Knowledge. This is the difference between an AI storefront and a button page.
Add:
- Topics — how you work, who you serve, what you do not take
- FAQs — the exact Q&A you paste into DMs today
Write the way you talk. Short answers beat essays. Include prices or ranges if you are comfortable publishing them; otherwise say how pricing works and what to ask for.
Also add offer-level knowledge when you create each product (private notes the assistant uses when someone asks about that specific session or download). Fans never need to see the raw notes — they feel the answers.
Without Knowledge, the assistant has nothing solid to say. With it, “how much / what’s included / can we collab?” stops living only in your phone.
Step 4 — Add offers (products) that match what you sell
Open App → Offers → add an offer. Pick the type that matches the job:
- Session / call — 1:1 booking
- Webinar / workshop — group event
- Ask me — paid or structured Q&A
- Collab — brand or creator asks
- Digital / course — when the product is a file or curriculum (services-first creators often start with sessions)
For each offer:
- Clear title and price (or “from”)
- What’s included in plain language
- Assistant notes / FAQs for this offer
- Publish when it is ready to book or buy
One sharp offer beats eight vague buttons. You can add more after the first booking path works.
Step 5 — Turn on booking where it matters
For session-style offers, complete the booking details in the offer editor (duration, availability, and payment when you are ready).
Test as a fan would:
- Open
pingmybio.com/yournamein a private window - Ask the assistant a real question from your DMs
- Start a booking or message path
- Confirm you get the notification in Inbox
If booking fails, fix availability and payment before you blast the link on a Reel.
Step 6 — Go live on Instagram or TikTok
You only get one bio URL on each app. Paste your PingMyBio link.
Instagram: Edit profile → Website (or links) → save → tap it as a viewer.
TikTok: Use the phone app → Edit profile → Website field. If the field is missing, see our TikTok link in bio guide (follower / business-account rules change by region).
In captions, say what happens after the tap: “Ask the bio which session fits” beats “link in bio” alone.
Launch checklist
- [ ] Slug is the handle you want long-term
- [ ] Profile photo + one-line positioning
- [ ] At least five real FAQs or topic notes in Knowledge
- [ ] One live offer with a clear next step (book, message, or buy)
- [ ] Assistant answers a DM-style question correctly in a private window
- [ ] Instagram and/or TikTok Website field points at your page
- [ ] You know where Inbox and booking alerts show up
Common mistakes
- Empty Knowledge — the page looks smart; the answers are not
- Ten half-finished offers — fans stall; ship one path
- Pricing only in your head — the assistant cannot invent a rate card you never wrote
- Linking Instagram to Instagram — waste the one URL slot
- Treating it like Linktree — if you only need a list, compare tools and pick a list product
FAQ
How long does setup take? A usable page can go live the same day: profile, a handful of FAQs, and one offer. Polish Knowledge as questions come in.
Do I need Classic mode? No. PingMyBio is an AI bio. Classic link lists are what other tools do. Use those if you only want buttons.
Can I use this for Instagram and TikTok? Yes — same URL in both Website fields. One hub, two apps.
Is PingMyBio free to try? Check the signup screen for the current early-access offer (including the first-100 creators promo when it is still open).
